Progressing Forward (Almost There)

Greetings to all fellow food lovers!

We have successfully merged the code from our individual projects into a consolidated main project, ensuring a smooth integration and thorough bug-checking process.  Additionally, have started to fix the errors in our design and technical documents.

And as always, here are our reports from last week followed by our plans for the next week:

Ondrej: Hi all, last week I worked with João to unite and improve our game code. Even though some small pieces are missing, we are almost done in this aspect. However, a lot of work (especially boring paper work) lies ahead of us. I hope we will have enough time to finish our concept until the MOJO, because of all the additional tasks besides the game itself. Moreover with the end of the semester and all  the other classes are finishing.

João: I collaborated with Ondrej in mixing the codes in one project and resolving errors while checking that it worked well. I also fixed the elevator bug when the players are going down, they could move, but now they stay still. Furthermore, I started implementing the "Game Over" when one of the players dies of starvation (players have to restart the level) and fixing the technical document issues.

Tereza:  Hello, last week I worked on the reports for the prototypes of the next two groups. I also began designing additional puzzles for upcoming levels and made corrections to the design document.

For the next week, we will focus on design and creating more levels.  The tasks for the next week are:

Ondrej will work on the design and development plan and if time allows he will also finish the code for the game.

João will focus on the technical document and then he will together with Ondrej finish the code.

Tereza will complete the changes to the design document and create the title picture for the game, as well as the poster for MOJO. Additionally, she will explore templates to enhance the game graphics and ensure an aesthetically pleasing experience.

During the week, we will meet and discuss playtesting plan and the game sheet.

As we conclude this devlog, we acknowledge that our journey ahead is filled with hard work and dedication. However, we are driven by our passion and commitment to deliver an exceptional gaming experience. With design and new levels, we hope to bring joy and entertainment to all who embark on our game! 😄
